MEET CHELSEA
Chelsea Long is running for Judge in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas -- Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division
She is co-founder of Wood & Long, a premier Ohio law firm practicing exclusively in divorce and family law. Recognized for her exceptional expertise and compassionate approach, she’s spent her career guiding clients through complex divorce and family law issues with integrity and clarity.
Chelsea serves as a certified family law specialist and as the former President of the Central Ohio Association for Justice, Chelsea brings extensive experience and a unique perspective to the court. Chelsea’s work as a Guardian ad Litem in numerous cases has further deepened her understanding of family dynamics. Her leadership role, combined with her in-depth knowledge of complex divorce and family law issues, significantly enhances her ability to fairly and competently serve on the court.
Chelsea graduated summa cum laude from Capital University Law School, ranking third in her class, and earned her Juris Doctor with distinction while serving on the Capital University Law Review. Prior to law school, she earned a magna cum laude Bachelor’s degree in Music History & Literature from Ohio University, where she also received an Honors Certificate in Flute Performance.
Born and raised in Ohio, Chelsea now lives in Bexley with her husband and two sons. When she’s not in the courtroom, she stays active with running, Pilates, and rollerblading. She also enjoys giving back through her work with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and indulging in reading and painting in her free time.
Chelsea plans to bring a fair, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to the bench in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas -- Domestic & Juvenile Division.
